About our drops
Movement is the point
A drop is the one earring that changes as you do. The halo around each stone is there for the same reason as on a ring — it catches light at angles the centre stone cannot reach on its own — but on something that swings, it is doing that work constantly.
Moissanite, and vermeil
These are moissanite set in 18K gold vermeil — gold over a sterling silver base — which is why they are the most accessible pieces in the collection and also the lightest to wear. The gold layer wears gradually with heavy daily use; that is a characteristic of vermeil rather than a fault, and the care notes on each page say how to slow it.
